Desh Bhagat Global School Organises Safety Awareness Drive

Desh Bhagat Global School organised an awareness drive in connection with the Road Safety. The drive was conducted in collaboration with District Traffic Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to make the students and people aware about traffic rules and road safety.


Mr. Hemant Kumar, Traffic In-charge District Fathegarh Sahib and his team helped the students in their traffic education activity. While addressing the all present he emphasized that it is the duty of every citizen to follow road safety rules while driving any vehicle so that precious human lives can be saved.



A workshop was also organized during this programme on “Awareness of Traffic Rules and Road Safety.” In this workshop, students, drivers and conductors of the school participated. There was an expert talk by Inspector Kanwaljit Singh (SHO, Mandi Gobindgarh). He made them aware about road safety measures.  Ins. Jatinder Singh (SHO, Amloh) and Davinder Singh guided them about traffic rules and road safety. The event was followed by a range of queries put forward by the participants to which the learned speakers aptly replied.


School Principal Mr. Vinod Kumar Sharma informed that during this progrmme, students participated in different activities. A Mini Awareness Rally on Traffic Rules was also organised by the students. They also pasted reflectors on vehicles, distributed pamphlets and appealed to the people to obey traffic rules and make others aware about it.


Desh Bhagat United Chairman, Dr. Zora Singh and Vice Chairperson Ms. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the initiative taken by the School and District traffic Police. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh exhorted the students to observe the traffic rules under all circumstances, saying that human life is very precious and if once lost, it cannot be got back.
