Desh Bhagat Global School observed World Nature Conservation day will full enthusiasm. On this particular day a special program was organised to inspire the students to save natural resources. There was a tree plantation drive in collaboration with Hara Punjab Khara Samaj an NGO working for environment safety. Students of different classes along with their teachers participated in this program. They were given green plants to promote greenery. Few plants of Neem, Pipal and Jamun were planted in the school compound by the students.
On this occasion Ms. Tajinder Kaur, the CEO of NGO Hara Punjab Khara Samaj distributed the plants among the students. Speaking on the occasion she said that Environmental pollution is a major problem nowadays, which causes several diseases. The demand of the hour is to plant maximum trees to save the Mother earth. To ensure the well-being of present and future generations, we all must participate to protect, conserve, and sustainably manage our natural resources, she added. Chairman Desh Bhagat United Dr. Zora Singh appreciated the initiative taken by the school management and the students.

Principal of the school, Mr. Vinod Kumar Sharma encouraged the students to make their surrounding clean and green. He said by planting saplings these students made an example for others, which is a good sign for future. It is worth mentioning that Desh Bhagat School started this plantation movement in collaboration with NGO Hara Punjab Khara Samaj. Students were made aware against all kind of pollution and motivated to plantation on this particular occasion.
